MOOC- A big social market:

Image
MOOC is the next big thing I am a big fan of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) presented on the web. Edx , Coursera , Udemy   being the biggest player of this market and have the widest range of courses too. It looks like they have a team which more technologically advanced, business oriented and incredibly linked at right places. I am currently pursuing 2 courses from Edx, on people management and basics of marketing and i am spell bound the way teachers go out of the way to create such content, which we can enjoy at our home munching chips and sitting comfortably on our bean bags. In India, the concept of MOOC is comparatively new and unchartered by students. The reason might be the authenticity of the course, the time investment and most importantly the money investment (this might be the biggest reason). You have to shell around $30-$120 for some courses, which translates to Rs.2000 to Rs.8000. Though the amount is not huge, but psychologically spending closed to Rs

Murder is always having a mystery behind it... Chapter-05 is here: The police station was a grimy place; fan circling around a small motor at a speed which felt slower than the earth’s revolution. Mishra Ji was sitting, eyes closed, on a cross netted chair in his cabin, which was shrieking because of his weight. Sweat beads were forming on his forehead mixed with the hair oil he must have applied in the morning. Few registers were lying opened on the table haphazardly, enjoying the stains of tea, oil and ink. The constable standing near him was animatedly talking to a crook sitting on the floor, wearing tattered clothes and enjoying a cup of tea with him, as if he was some relative of the constable. “Sir the medical report….come….Samaera murder case” announced another constable while entering in the cabin. Few words were eaten up by the creaky noise of the door. He tried to stand as soon as possible, but his weight and bulging stomach created problem to bring his centr

Murder is always having a mystery behind it... Chapter-04 is here: Ratan barged in the cabin of the chief editor of Indian Herald. He knew he had something in his hand but wanted to consult his senior. “Raj, I have the news that on the murder day Sahil met someone outskirts of the city. My source provided me this news.” He was quite confident about this information. “I know Samaera was your dear friend Ratan, but Sahil is a big man. Putting the light on him can be dangerous if it’s not proved. We have to be really sure about it.” Raj was quick to reply as if he knew this was going to happen. “But, my source has never been wrong about the information. Let’s take a shot and let's see how the mass reacts. I am being professional here more than personal.” He said to clear about his intention. “Can you quote your source and name him in the news? If yes, go ahead else don’t waste my time Ratan.” He had screamed on Ratan for the first time. “Unfortunately, my
